Mariognarly, me and some friends made that exact same slider except its just a flat bar and its a miniature of that, what do we put on the sides so we don't kill ourselves on the wood holding it up and so we dont get splinters or anything, I like it by the way, its pretty bad assss....

jdjgreenhair, If you can pick up some free barrels and some short 2x4 and what not I think you could pull it off in $50.

Jeff206, car washes there soap comes in them and maybe to get water out ether if you have a pump for pumping up tires not a hand one but like a heavey duty one you could use that ot take it to a gas station or you could store them in a bush or something outa the way.

i would if i could but there are no bushes around my lake except at the few parks, it's just a concrete ring with houses butted up next to each other, the only space out of the way is under the dock. Also once it's in the water i pretty much have to leave it there because there's a concrete bulkhead that drops down about 3 feet to the lake and there is no way i'm hauling it up over that everyday

um i would but the point of putting it under the dock is so it's out of view. I'm pretty sure my parents wouldn't want a huge slider tied to their dock.

we're not really on the same page here

no dramas though, i shouldn't really be thinking about this right now anyway because i can't build it untill i get back into town at the end of june

bloody hell, there's no where I can put it other than under the dock. Get it? my parents don't want a big ugly slider out in fornt of there house all the time.

I may try just making one that's easy to disasemble so i can store it somewhere else. that's my other option

when I'm using it, I'll just take it out and hook it to one of the anchors that's out there already, along with a few others. but i can't leave it out there all the time or anywhere that's visable for that matter, simply because my parents don't want me too

Is there another wakeboarder on the lake?

If so you can make an offer like... "If I build a slider I'll let you hit it if I can leave it at your dock"

I can almost guarntee they would say yes, who would say no to getting to use a slider free?

yeah there's about 5000 other wakeboarders on the lake, Lake Washington (not that, that would mean much to you if you're not from around here but it's a big lake that runs right through the seattle metro area)

that's a good idea though, i'll try it out, thanks!

I'm going to build a modified version of this slider, and i need some help on dimensions because i have never had the oppertunity to hit a slider before. it's going to have the same basic construction except it will be longer and have much more gradual entry rails. i'm trying to decide on a good length for the slider tho. i have a pretty small dock and i want to tie it to my dock, i think there's only about 20-30 feet of room for the slider. i would just build a 50 foot slider and store it at another rider's house down the lake but then i have to worry about liability and have to drive a little ways to session it. one last question is that if i make the slider about like that in the picture but longer, should i also make it wider to stabilizie it? and lastly what is the best way to anchor a slider if i want to be able to tow it out with my boat when i want to session it? oh and if anyone has plans for sliders plz plz PM me

How would you join the PVC Pipes, and also.... how much do the PVC pipes cost... I was looking to make something similar to what you have there.
