Just bought tickets to PWT in Acworth, GA May 18-20

Anyone else going to be there?

I'm pretty stoked to see this. It will be my first pro wakeboard event.

Any tips, pointers, advice?

I'm headed to the MN stop, went last year and had a blast except that I had to work. Still got to watch most of the riders I really wanted to see.

I think you can buy tickets online through the PWT website. thats what i did last year, they are the cheapest, $10 i think, but if not you can by them at Dallas Landing when you get there.

Simply print out the final page of your order to present for entry at the event. No tickets will be mailed, the confirmation is your ticket.

This is an online only special offer. Sorry, no phone orders. Tickets are $10 the day of the event at the gate and only $5 when you purchase ahead of time online. Deadline for E-Ticket purchases is 12 p.m. E.T. the Friday before each event.

We're going also. My first event as well. I think we will have a big crew, at least 10. We need to post a meeting place at a certain time for the meet and drink, I mean greet.

How does it work if you want to take your boat out to watch the event?

Just drop your boat in the water and head over to the site, there are a few public boat ramps on the lake.

yeah, if you wanna drop your boat in there is numerous spots to launch. i found the being on the boat a lot more fun then on land, because the boat scene just turns into a big party and everyone ties up. your also a whole lot closer to the riders. look for the purple maristar, more then welcome to come aboard.

Acworth is a great venue and a fun stop! We are going to be spending two weeks there....first Dallas landing and then Masters. Can you tell me how far it is between the two? Thanks!

I think we're gonna make the trip down from Columbia. We'll be the drunk group of college students, which probably doesnt say much. Hopefully we're bringing 5-10 at least.

i saw the dates include friday the 18th. what exactly goes on the fridays during competition, because i dont think i could make it in time with school still going on then.
