Need Help. Looking a getting the Boss Mirror mount. Anyone have one. I'm putting on my custom (Home Built) Tower and don't know how it will look or fit I know the tubing size will be but the length is my concern. If anyone could give me the measurments doesn't have to be exact just rough on the arm length, both the large Arm and the Small Arm and that rod they use. I can go out to my boat to see it it will work on the tower. Might be too short of a length (Hope not). Also anyone know a cheap price. Wakside sells it for a pretty good price. |

I have one but I don't have the measurements. It works great but the rod that the mirror connects to needs to be screwwed down or loctited. When ever the mirror gets out of adjustment and you try to move the mirror up, the rod spins up, so you end up spining the mirror down and all the way around to the right spot, if that makes sense. _________________ Calabria Boats Rule! |

| Hey thanks for that info. It makes a lot of sence. I was woundering about if the rod moved or not. It looks really cool. Is there anyway you could take measure out to it and measure it. I'm still worried that my tower legs are not as close to the boat as a Boss Tower. I've seen them in some pics almost straight (Both arms) and it looks like it just makes it. Thats why I'm worried. Hate to spend over 100 bucks and I can't use it. |

Boss tower custom made for the lines of a Calabria. It measures 8' fron the center of the mount to the swivel point. then it measures from the swivel out to the tip at 14.25". the mirror uses about the last inch to mount. _________________ Calabria Boats Rule! |

When you spend 40-50k on a boat and $800-1000 on a wakeboard, what's $180 bucks for a mirror _________________ Calabria Boats Rule! |

I've got another question. Do you move it down out of the way for towing? In order to prevent bugs and such from getting plastered to the back side.
Also, noticing with the Boss mirror mount that it really only puts the mirror over te windshield about 3 or 4 inches, does this really make a difference and if so, how is the angle to view backwards.
Also, does it move easy enough such that if if were in your way say pulling into dock and you decide to stand up to navigate, can you move it easily out of your way?

Most people buy the Boss Articulating Mirror with just the arm and not the mirror. That takes the price down to $130.

Wakejunky,
Many buy this mirror to get the mirror off of the center section of the windshield. On many open bow boats, you lose your mirror every time the windshield is opened to get up front. The articulating mirror solves this problem.
