Tried my first 1 today and did a 270 and busted ass, second attempt was better but I could not hold onto the rope. Any tips wold be nice.........

try to pin it to your lower back to stop the rotation, it also helped me to learn to look away from the boat, like looking behind me at the wake untill i touched water and gained controll again

Learn to do them by doing an inside-out wake jump. Once you get that memorized into the muscles and are comfortable landing blind, then go wake to wake.

As for not holding onto the handle, you're probably landing too sqaure to the boat (the inside-out wake jumps would help fix that) and the handle gets ripped out of your mitts. Try and do the handle pass if you keep loosing the handle (I am assuming that you are landing wrapped), or else, work on your body/board position when you land.

Another tip to help you keep the handle. As you pop off the wake, pull the handle to your hip hard and quick BEFORE you start to spin. This will help keep you centered because the rope is at your hip and it is much easier to complete the handle pass because the rope is already close to your body.

Yea i learnt Switch Heel Blind 1s first out in the flats ollieing to blind then with the handle pass in the air then inside out on the wake..
