Help Please
I have landed a couple of t/side 360's but now I can't land them. I think I am coming to far round and putting the weight on my heels and the board slides straight out from under neath me.
How far round are you meant to land a t/side 3 and does anyone know where a vid clip is so i can see one?
Cheers

Pass the handle real late, and spot your landing by looking at the wake behind you before you pass... at one time the only thing I could land was sketchy TS 540's cuz I would try to look back at the boat, (opening my hips)
try some switch hs BS 180's to get the feel of the LATE PASS and spotting the landing looking away from the boat.

Hit the wake with the handle in tight, go up and slowly rotate 180 as you start to come down snap the handle back to your lead hip ( behind back obviously) and pass it as you hit the water. When you're landing on your heels it usually means you hit the wake too much on edge, try to flatten off and pop up big.

wait, why do you flatten of to get big? I thought that getting big air was a product of edging through the wake, why would you let off the edge?! You would lose line tension, and therefore, would lose pop...

I think the reason he says flatten off is so you pop straight up and not roll it off axis. Itm helps to get that nice clean flat spin.

Hope you land it
if you're going off-axis, then wait until your at the top of your jump, then spin

Here's a partial sequence of my first ever 360, last summer. I know it's pretty weak, but it was my first season riding. The sequence starts when I'm already about a quarter through the rotation, but it may give you an idea of how a 3 looks when you're learning them.
This year I've been able to go wake to wake with them, and I'm landing them much more consistently.
I tied an old ski rope to a tree in my backyard and use it for practicing the handle pass. It really helps alot. I just stand on the edge of the deck, lean like I'm cutting into the wake, jump of the edge and spin. I'm not in the air long, but it's still great handle-pass and rotation practice.

Actually, now that I look at it, I'm about 180 around already in the first pic.

spin it really slow and push the handle back towards the wake. Even though it's only a 3 it's a hard one to get comfortable with. So don't get discouraged. I still have a hard time throwing some flare on this trick.
