i have taken basic and pascal programming classes the past few years in highschool, and i am taking C++ next year. i was just wondering if there were many other people in the forums who do this kind of stuff

I used program in a bunch of languages.. (for those geeks out there: C, C++, Perl, TCL, PHP, k-shell)...

Now I do network design. Network stuff is much less geekish than programming, and the side benefit is that most important work happens during "off" hours... During the summer this translates into more butter for me.

I program in FoxPro and VB all day. I took some other stuf too in school, but I haven't done some of it for awhile. But I do spend way too much time looking at these message boards instead of working.

I'm a computer information systems major in school right now. I don't know how to do much programming, but I can do scripting for programs like mIRC and the easy stuff like that. I'll be getting into programing next year. My specialty is more of putting computers together from scrap and problem solving when problems arise. Smile
