Depends on if you're grabbing on your heelside or toeside edge. If it's your heels I believe it's a stalefish. Who cares about Tindy or tailfish. What's a Slob grab? Just a Tindy but grab the nose, so why are those acceptable and not tindy? Randall Harris does Slob 5's & 7's all the time...besides who gives a $#!t. Live & let live |

Slob is a legit grab cuz you have to let go with your lead hand to grab it. _________________ Raley cut everything! |

I was thinking last night though and i'm wondering if my above statment is correct because what about snow ans skateboarding where there is no handle. So it can't be a legit grab because of the handle. |

I've seen some pretty sick Offaxis Backside Tindy 3's, after he did it I didn't stand up in the boat and tell him it was sloppy and lazy, I told him it was F-in crazy. Letting go with your front hand does not make a grab legit, they are all super easy so who gives a crap? maybe you guys should read the Core Riders post on the General Discussion board. You should add "no Tindy's no matter what the situation". |

I find it humorous that it all comes back to skateboarding. If some joe is riding his skate and he does this air and grabs Tindy, doesn't that mean he just grabbed his shoe? The degree of separation between a tail grab(legit) and a Tindy(not good) is like and inch and a half. That's pretty precise business. Enjoy... |

i wish i could contribute to this discussion, but I'm having difficulty figuring out what's what in terms of grabs. If you know of any link that actually has this stuff down, I'd appreciate it... |

hey stephan you've never seen a grabbed backside off axis three, you wanna know why? because no one does them, the only backside off axis spin that anyone can do is a TS five. yes that means that no one can do a backside offaxis 3 AND grab it. also could you tell us if this was a HS or TS trick that you dreamt up. _________________ "They misunderestimated me."-president bush |

Chubby, what are you talking about? A lot of riders do backside off axis 3s, both toeside and heelside. Only one rider does toeside backside off axis 5s, and thats parks. And yes, they do grab their hs bs oa 3s. |

You want a list of riders doing backside off axis spins? Here are just a few...
Parks
Darin
Shane
Ruck
Zane
Ike
Gerry Nunn
Joey Arciz
Ben Greenwood
There are alot more than that doing them, I didnt feel like typing every single persons name. As for the videos, go watch any recent video and you will see some...Free 4 All, Boombox, My Side, Natural Born Thillaz, etc. |

Sorry Chubbs, looks like I don't even need to reply. I know however, in Shafted, Parks does grabbed BS, HS, oa 3's & 5's. He also does ungrabbed BS HS OA 7's. |
