New to wakeboarding, pics of new board and boat set up

Did a lot of research on this site about wakeboards and chose this LF Flite 2005 w/ Omni Bindings. Got the package from WakeGiant.com for $178 shipped. I notice a big difference immediately going from a Hydroslide black widow to this board. Easy to get up on and edges really easy. I just need more riding time to feel more stable so I can start landing some tricks. Got a few more weeks left.

I have almost exactly the same setup. My board is a 135 LF Flite, and we have a 2000 Bayliner Capri with a 90 HP motor. My dad's looking at getting a pylon, and I was wondering if you installed that yourself or did you have someone put it on for you? Does it help a lot with the riding? Finally, is that good one to get? I appreciate any feedback you have. I like the setup a lot, of course I'm new too, but it's great just having a board and boat to ride on.

DeloBoarder, if you don't need a pylon and you have the loop on the back of your boat to attach the rope i don't recommend getting one.

you have 2 eyes, one each side of the motor. you connect a bit of rope with a ring on it between them. then u connect your rope to the ring.

DeloBoarderThe pylon seems to help out a lot for me and others who are new to wakeboarding. I have pulled experienced wakerboarders who are used to being pulled from the loop on the back of the boat and they also stated that it is easier to get up with and easier to get air. In my opinion, I do not feel as much as a strain getting out of the water and it pulls you up quicker. As for the install, I drilled out a 2 in. hole for the pylon to go through. The base which is supplied with the pylon is secured with five 1/4" lag bolts. The bolts are supplied for the telescoping support arms. The setup is very sturdy and strong. I ordered mine from www.barts.com but I believe www.overtons.com has them for cheaper. I paid $239 for mine I believe it was well worth having. z32f4i, thanks for the input. I think that we'll end up doing the same thing with our boat. I'll do anything to help with air time, etc, even though I know only practice and technique can really make the hug difference. If a pylon will help, which I gather that it will, I think I'll go for it. I like the setup by the way, of course, because mine's similar. justin, the pylon does help vs the eye, especially on outboard motors cuz the eye is alot lower.

plus it's not that farr down from towers :/ well some atleast
