No, not straight wakeboarding... and no, not straight kiteboarding... a unique cool looking combo of the two. Anyone else seen this?

Well - they clearly have some equipment issues to work out, but - this is fantastic.

Got to love innovation like this.

Cool vid - thanks for posting it.

I saw this earlier in the week. http://www.wakekite.com

looks like fun for about an hour. Seems difficult to do tricks on it. Because you're basically hanging, any time you let go with 1 hand you've got to support your entire body weight. Looks difficult to control the handle position also.

That looks like you can't get any tricks off it, but the guy on skis is a beast Laughing

Haha, nice video

Very cool. But it's like hitting a single in baseball. I want the home run.

Sorry, but no. I agree its innovative, but I mean it's almost like cheating at wakeboarding. You get massive air without even trying. It would be interesting to try, but why would someone try to combine two things which are much better on their own anyway?

If you have ever kiteboarded you will know how lame this is. They should have shown what had to be done each time that guy crashed. Getting all the lines untangled and getting the kite launched each time would be a royal pain the ass. Just my .02
