The first place to check is with your local DNR or county sheriff. Whomever patrols the lakes your on. In my case it was the DNR and he came by told us that as long as we take it out at night and use a boat to tow not a pwc then we were legal as far as he was concerned. Thats of course after my nieghbors had been complaining about us all summer to him.
Like I said check there first. Maybe the person who patrols your place doesn't care at all. Or maybe they are dead against it. You never know until you ask. _________________ I hate my job

We had a kicker near a beach where people often swim and park boats.. they told us it was an obstruction of waterways, a misdemeanor, that they could put us in handcuffs for... lame. _________________ www.norcalwake.com | www.integrity-wake.com | www.chriscut.com |

The slider we have setup on our lake is in the shallows off a beach, we had it up about a week and the police came by and stopped asked if it was ours and we just played dumb. It's still up and no problems, we have it all maked off really well with reflectors and tape so it can be seen. So as long as you have it in a good location and marked off really well I would think there would be no problems. _________________ I'm a hucker |

Just make sure you ask your local DNR or police at the lake..... _________________ It won't be easy, but when I get there it will be one of the most satisfying journeys of my life. |
