| i think i may switch over to ronix in the spring next spring/summer if i find one that will go with the way i ride. i like the fin position on the ronix board though...they are more toward the middle and i think it would be sweet for sliders.

ohio_wake_2008, The middle of my slider board is where it stakes the most abuse, I think they'd just break off easier there. I also like having no contours or obstructions on the bottom of my slider board, which is why I use a blindside billy mckee, which is perfectly flat on the bottom except for the half-inch molded fins, which are at the ends.

They're going out tomorrow morning. Fed-Ex next day priority. You pay the shipping.
.....mmmmmmm......works out to be 55.00 canadian for shipping, plus 80.00 for the stickers.
135.00 total....you aren't allowed to stick them on your bong, though.

K-dub, neither does dundundun. I figure they are close enough for the entire province to get a contact high off of that kid's stank.

| boarder_boy, Nope. I never rode a specific brand because of the Riders. I ride the equipment that I feel works the best for my riding style. However, if I rode a brand just because the riders did, I would definitely ride CWB and/or O'Brien, because they have some of the nicest people I have met riding for them, and none seem to be overly full of themselves.

ontrider, I've got 5 on the "ball into the street" if by "ball into the street" you mean his mommy/daddy finally caught his ass toking on a "blunt" and grounded his ass for life.

This whole Ronix thing is just a bunch of BS. I'll ride it in a few years if they prove themselves. But just because four hyperlite pro members leave doesn't mean that hyperlite lost the best. Ruck, Webb, and Murray are damn good riders. Plus Hyperlite has some of the best wakeskaters still, or does Ronix plan on stealing them away in '08?

| Besides, ronix is most likely going to use similar if not the same technology as hyperlite considering they have the same riders. I would wait it out for a few years and see how their gear performs and then if it proves itself buy a board. You should buy a board based on whether or not it fits your style, not whether or not some pro rides on it

I thought it was going to be called Gaydar or Radar or something..?
Not impressed at all with a company founded on an agenda to F things up a bit due to running into the ground...three times. You see the article in Alliance?? The crew from Ronix looks like a bowling team from the midwest. These aren't riders. I don't care who rides for you...build product because you're passionate about the sport and doing it at every waking moment you can. Not because you have a chip on your shoulder.
I for one will be in the front row to watch this ship sink.

i'm gonna have to disagree with a ur first sentence...and the only reason i say this is because when all the riders left to go to Ronix they also took the key guys involved in hyperlites R&D and their main shaping guy (don't know his name but it's in one of the 4 interviews)..so now pretty much the only cat they got left is Byerly...and he is by no means a master shaper...
from what i've heard talking to some ppl the Ronix stuff is gonna be pretty rad...so i wouldnt be surprised if they did great just of off innovation alone...BUT.....
i'm still gonna rock LF but it'll be interesting to see all the new stuff and see how it compares...gonna be interesting...

I will certainly Demo their boards to see if I like it as well as the New Byerly line under Hyperlite. Same with the Binding. And for me it's not about the brand or who is riding it, although I have historically really like the shapes that harf has. For me it is much more about the ride and the local pro shop.
Plus currently I am boardless since I just cracked my Premier. And if I don't like either I will probably pick up a left over 05 premier.
On another note based of what I saw at Nationals there is some different technology in terms of construction. The Profile was by no means as thick as a hyp. board specifically in the tip and tail of the board.

Sinkoumn - Actually if it is similar to anything it would be the 3DS. The pic is of Chads board and Bindings.
From what I understand Parks will not have a ProModel out this Fall. I could only assume that is becuase he only recently just started to ride again with all the surrounding with his knee.

Ohhh man I'm offended. Now if you excuse me, I need to get back to my... hmmm... garden
I'm liking the graphics- plain or not. I wouldn't call it switching but I think I might hit up a Ronix when I get the change. It's getting about time to get a new board.
