Shane VS. Watson Bindings?

I haven't rode either of these bindings so I need some help on figuring out which one to buy, the Shanes or the Watsons? or another option is to wait till next year if you all think they'll be that much more advanced

todd2857, i heard that the Shane and Watson have better fits for 07 than in 06.

They also were pretty much the same boot in 06 just shane had a closed toe.

the 07 shane is supposed to be a narrow fit where as the watson is a bit wider... I think that's correct... Neutral

I would wait if i were you but i really like my 06 watsons. Another reason to wait is the the 06 pro plates are very prone to breaking on hard falls. However, i don't know if they fixed this for 07... Rolling Eyes

personally i would buy close-out '06 now instead of the '07 because there isn't that much of a difference accept for the awesome prices being offered right now

The shanes are cut lower than the watsons, making the watsons a little more supportive. I like the feel of the watsons better, the shanes just felt a little too stiff, while the watsons were nice and flexible, they just hold you up a little higher.

A guy here jacked up his toe with the Shane bindings by sliding into them. He loved them until then but even if it happens one every 100 times, that's too much.
