|
|
So I was wakeboarding I am in the air doing a 360, I go for the pass and go to grab the handle with my left arm and I put my arm through the handle and bam...broken wrist. So im in a cast that just goes to my forearm and I cant really do nothing...except wakesurf. I was out yesterday surfing and I put a trashbag around my arm and duct taped it. Well in short my cast got really wet. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do to keep it from getting wet? |

Need to get a hevier plastic and use a ruber band to seal it under the duct tape. _________________ Its hard being a chick rider, you have to know how to ride, and make sure your still wearing your bikini after busting. |

i broke my leg this past winter and too take a shower ( and go wakeskating ) i had to wrap my cast in a towel and then in a duct-taped trash bag. works pretty good cause the water that does get in just gets the towel wet _________________ 2003 Mastercraft X-2 |

if your having trouble with the front of the cast, use a rubber glove |

The only reason to keep the cast dry is to protect the cotton padding. Padding inside the cast gets wet, no more cushy healing. Try going to a sports med doc and getting a closed cell foam pad and a new cast... get the old one wet so your insurance will cover it.... |

Try this www.xerosox.com. I got one for my son[/url] so he could wakesurf. It's awesome and keeps your cast totally dry. |
