I live in the phoenix area and for some reason I am having the HARDEST time finding a vest! There are none around me and I ordered one online and that was a mistake. And when I went to a shop the guy tried to sell me a vest I couldn't even zip up .. he told me it's supposed to be super super tight and small because it expands in the water .. yeah I understand this but seriously i couldnt breathe in that thing. Is vest-buying supposed to be this complicated??? I wouldnt mind something in black and hott pink either. . . Smile help!

I'm a female here and bought my vest online with success. Measure your chest at the largest girth part to get your size. I personally have a short torso, so I found the design where it is cup higher at the hips to work very well. It's snug, but once I'm wet it's a perfect fit. I picked up the women's "Body Glove Ranger"(in purple) and I've been very happy with it.
Looks like this(assuming the link/pic works below)

This pic is of me wearing/using it:

I just bought this Wet Tech vest for my girlfriend. She's 5'2", 110 lbs and the XS fits her perfectly. Not only that, but the price is right for a neo CGA vest.

IS THIS POST FOR REAL???? WHY DON"T YOU STOP YELLING FOR A SECOND, AND DRIVE DOWN TO THE LOCAL BOARD SHOP, OR SPORTING GOOD STORE. Once your done yelling try one on, and buy it. If you don't think that it fits, then it doesnt. When you find one that fits your know it. I think you are making this too dificult.

Its Checkers, it aint Chess.

raptorschild, i'm sure it's harder for women to find a vest, but i'm a "kinda fat guy"
and i had a hell of a time finding a vest. sure i found a bunch for $120 but i'm not trying to spend that much on a vest. i went to about 7 places in the vegas area and ended up finding one at the sports chalet in henderson.
some brands extra large fit but i ended up getting a hyperlite in xxL it fit the best and had a good price of $50 all neoprene (sp)

betty_rider,

go online and order 5-6 of them, try them on and go with the best fit.

i had ordered a few and 3 just felt like garbage and the one i thought i was not gonna like was the best fit. make sure they have a good return policy.
