05 byerly boot problem

My boa knobs are coming off, not the actual knobs but the threading that holds the knobs to the boot

has this happened to anyone else?

I have the '04 Byerly binding which are the exact same and no i haven't. That is kind of weird?

Yea I had one do it.. You can replace the knobs. In the end.. I took a shotgun to my 04 byerlys..

The actual BOA knob on my buddies 05's came off....he was just riding and ate it pretty hard and they fell off...ended up finding em and tried to put them back on but didnt work so well...

its no the actual knobs coming off its the threading that attaches to the back of the binding. i think i might buy some new bindings at the end of the season. do you guys have any suggestions? im really liking the 06 murrays or 3ds's. what do you guys think?

Well I just bought some 05 byerly boots for 150.00 off ebay becuase thats how I roll. I hope they dont screw up becuase I am using them for the first time tommorow.

i experienced threading coming of my 03 byerlys... i just had threading re-stitched at a shoe repair shop. it was perfectly fine afterwards

wakebuddy87, Man the 3ds's have had some issues this year! the toes on them are not up to par. I would probably steer clear of those if you could. I don't know much about the Murrays, but i do know the 3DS's are not holding up at all. Like i am talking 2 weeks is how long a friend of mines had lasted. And another friends lasted about a months maybe!

Look into LF bindings if you can man and if you want closed toe.. go Shane's

yea i had threads by the boa on my 04 byerlys pop too.. fixed it myself with a canvas needle and a thimble and it was fine. As for 06.. I love my Murrays.. You may run into similar boa issues but they have come a long ways and its all easy to fix. Good boot.

ok thanks for the input. ill will stay clear of the 3ds's and look in to the murrays. By the way is closed toe a lot different then open toe?
