You should check out the Hyperlite LANDLOCK. I just picked one up online for about $250 with Free shipping. I am 200 pounds and have never surfed before, so I wanted a nice big ride.............. |

shred stixx makes high quality boards that are bigger than others. they tend to run a little higher than the others though. _________________ I am the walrus goo goo goo joob |

TOTALL-
I bought it on BUYWAKE.com , I have ordered from there quite a bit because of the free shipping and no sales tax since I am out of their state. I just checked the price again and it is 252.99. |

Hey what did you end up buying?
I unfortunately had bought the LF Landlock 5'11" and found that for a 250# guy you can't go ropeless although my young nephew can all day long on that board...I am currently searching for a new board that will do the trick...
Have my eyes on Shredstixx and XtremeBoards but looking for opinions on the best board to support 250# and still being maneuverable.

i have the hyperlite LANDLOCK 5'11" and weigh in a just 200,
I can throw the handle, the boat is a DD, and our only ballast is human. I do a fair amount of pumping and back and forth at times though. My 6'3" husband weighs in at 260, but he has not tried it yet. (mucked up rotator cup)
Will let you know how he does on tuesday. |

I'm 6'1" and 215 lb. I have yet to try wake surfing, but I've always had an easier time surfing on a big board. I bought a 9'6" longboard when I lived in Rhode Island. Once I can get access to a boat with a decent wake, I'd like to try it for wake surfing. I also have a 6'2'' Morey Doyle surfboard that might work for me.
A friend bought a wakesurfboard a couple of years ago that we could try out once I get my boat (see my topic that I started today). |
