I've been wakeboarding for close to a month now and I'm not afraid of Inverts. I landed a tantrum 2 days ago and that didn't take me long to learn, so i was wondering which i should move to, backroll or scarecrow, and if it is scarecrow should i learn anything else toeside before attempting it?

A backroll would be easier than a scarecrow i would think, but i havent tried a scarecrow before.

i would recommend a backroll. they're easier in my opinion. but if your switch landings and toeside are really good, go for the crow because having an equal amount of inverts from heelside and toeside would be groovy.

a backroll deffinately because the rotation is natural. it was my first invert. tantrum was a close second. but yeah jp minter is right about the equal inverts for TS and HS.

Definately go with the equaled out TS and HS. If you start competing that is gonna help you a lot.

Sometimes if you get a scarecrow good, and then you go for just a ts frontroll, it might make that one harder to learn and more sloppy.. i would say a backroll then a ts frontroll then a scarecrow, but do whatever

a scarecrow is actually more of a natural rotation than the front roll, but being that he hasnt ridden enough to have a strong switch base, i would suggest a backroll

im no expert though

Just go out and try both and see whats more comfotable and do that one. It more of a personal thing what inverts you choose to learn. And remember to keep doing your tantrum to keep that up to scratch.

I wouldn't be too sure of that....

It really depends on the rider and what they are good at.

I was doing Crows before Tantrums so what does that tell you.
Everyone is not the same!
