|
|
Well I have the Zeus hinges on my board. I love them, but recently this weekend, I started having problems. I noticed while riding that one of the hinge mechanisms, the flip lever to be specific, kept popping into the open position. I would pull it up and lock it into place, but after some big air and hard landings it would do it again.
Anyone know how I might be able to correct this?? I love these bindings, and want to make sure I get the best out of them. |

haugy, sounds like there is not enough tension on the cable.
You can undo the screw and adjust slighty, OR if you don't want to screw with it just take them back and exchange them. _________________

I would hate to have to exchange them for something that minor.
A rep from CWB pm'd me a few minutes ago with info to help. You can adjust the tension on the cable, so I will try that and let yall know how it works. Either way, pretty cool of CWB to chime in with some info.
Thanks. |

haugy, yeah, they are good guys. I would also hate to exchange them because it takes a few sessions to get them conformed to your foot as well. I too had to adjust then tension on the cable after my first ride in them. It is fairly simple to do, and will make a world of difference. _________________

| the cable could have popped out of the lip that holds it...could have gotten caught on something when the cable was loose & just pulled out. This happened to mine b4 i put them on my board (i was just trying them on). Just make sure both sides are tucked under the lips on the back... |
