I just picked up a new Murray & it will not fit in my stock Centurion racks, it is too thick with the L7 core? Anyone else have a problem. Looks like I need new racks now? WTF

I have the 138 and it fits in stock Sea Ray racks. I dont like the board though. I'm going to exchange it tomorrow. Two weekends on it and I'm just not happy. Its heavy.

Unfortunatly I don't have a rack or Murray ( I wish I did)
But I'm thinking its because of the boards unusually large rocker? It's 3.2'' isn't it?

Murrays and Temets(early version..) are thick for some reason, my temet barely squeezes into my Monster racks. But yeah, you could trim down the rubber..

It is definitely thicker than any other board on my boat but I think it is mostly due to the raised mold on the top of the board. I don't really think I can modify my racks all that much unless I remove the rubber. The problem with that is the board will probably get chewed up then.

Yeah the L7 cores are thicker, I was talking to Chris O'Shea and he was quite suprised/happy that his new racks actually fit his Premier...

Apart from modifying the racks, I don't know what you could do...
