if there is one more thread about which is better: ps3 or watson, im going to shoot myself
i have the watson and i love it, lots of pop, lightweight, smooth landings...people are going to say they tried the watson but went with the ps3 because it's faster on the water and lets them go into the flats, while the watson is perfect for wake to wake. basically it's a win/win situation, just depends on what you're looking for in a board |

| Ive rode both boards and for me the watson was better. the ps3 is light, poppy and all around a smooth board, i found it a little bit sticky in the water. The watson pops more is light and seems to ride faster and looser and pops more wake to wake but can still go in to the flats. the ps3 was more going into the flats pop. whatever you choose you will have a sick board but the watson was more for my style of riding. |

Just curious if you have ridden both boards finless? I haven't ridden the Watson yet but finless the PS3 seems pretty loose. Personally love the PS3 as it's nice to have the huge pop and still generate a lot of speed if you want to go out into the flats. To me, the board is perfect as far as being loose yet locking in once it's on edge. |

| Epic, yeah i didn't put the fins on.. its not super sticky just a bit. i was coming off a LF Team that i rode with the cupped fins, the ps3 is just a touch more sticky then it. The ps3 and Watson are both great boards just the Watson felt better under me. |

Must have a lot to do with riding styles. I rode a LF Team for a lot of last year and my little brother and one of our friends have that board as well (which is one reason I got rid of mine) but I thought the finless Team was waaaay grippier than the PS3 finless. I ended up giving my 05 Team to my brother in law who rode it twice, then rode my PS3 and took the Team back because it wasn't loose enough and he loved how the PS3 breaks loose and had huge pop. I convinced him to get the Watson because I heard it was pretty similar to the PS3 and I'd just as soon not have everybody I ride with have the same board as me. He hasn't had it out yet. I love how you can slide all over the place when you want to and not catch an edge, yet lock down when edging and not have it slip out. I've been tempted to pick up the watson board as well but I like the PS3 so much I'm having a hard time justifying it. |

Let me know what you think. You might convince to go ahead and pick up a Watson board as well. |
