Ever hear of Charenton? Its not too far from where you live, theres a crappy landing there. Cost 2$ but the owner watches your truck and stuff.

When you get there follow the white poles to the right, your gonna go through a bayou that will curve left and come out on the river. I always headed left and boarded all up in there. Becareful of shallow water though the bay and bayou though, stick close to those white poles I stayed to the left side of them (going out, and right side coming in).

Theres also Lake Fausse Point (state park).

Nearest my house is Lake Dauterive, its near Louriville, gotta pretty good Bayou off too one side if you know here its at. See quite a few wakeboarders on it.

GL I've no boat so I've only been boarding once this year Sad. Below I've attached an image from mapquest. Check it out and you'll see just how much freshwater wakeboarding heaven is in your area.

Hey I'm In Franklin. about 20 minutes from you.

Theirs some nices lakes in the verdunville/morgan city area.

thats a litte bit of a drive for you though.

I lke the Bayous between Baldwin and Jeanerette, Lake Fausse Point, their nice and wide, and flat. Plus lots of tree to olly. Smile

The Lake is usually too choppy to ride though.
