are you regular and how large are your fins? i see this problem quite a bit, when i see people doing it i find that its that they're not turning the board so the nose faces the boat, causing the fins to lock and carry the rider outside of the wake. if this is your problem you could try dropping you're back hand and squaring up to the board. then again i can't be sure if this is you're problem and i hope that if it is i've given the right remedy.

I notice it when i get new ppl to ride too. I think what they are doing is leaning back so they dont fall. When they do this, it puts them on a heelside edge and they start going to their left (reg foot). Once you stand up straight and balance your weight between your heels and toes you will learn to ride straight. Remember shifting your weight between your heels and toes is how you steer, just think about that when you ride.

I think wakeboardingizfun could be right. Make sure you keep your front hip pointing at the bacak of the boat and keep the handle in to your front hip.

As you go over the wakes also ensure the handle is in tight at your hip. If the handle is way out in front of you there is no give in the line and it will immediately pull you over. When the handle is at your hip it can almost act like a shock absorber.
