Okay, I was just wondering what I might be doing wrong? My lower back is starting to hurt when I wakeboard. My buddy says it is because I lean too far foward when I cut out HS. Could this cause my back to hurt? Another question, and I know this belongs in the "Tricks Tips" forum, however, I am in a hurry so I will just ask in this. When I go to throw a HS FS 360, I have the rotation down fine, however, when I go to make the handle pass, it feels like it is being jerked out of my left hand, and I never can get it around to my lower back???? HELP???? _________________ It is better to be thought a fool, then to speak and remove all doubt. |

| first of all the back paion is just from having bad posture while riding.. leaning too far back for too long could make it hurt (by back i mean putting all the weight on your back foot). and for the HS FS 360 try and use the handle to start your rotation instead of spinning off the wake.. to do this pull the handle really hard to your back hip. This will cause slack in the rope and therefore make it easier to grab the handle! goodluck |

Thanks man, I will try that tomorrow on my 360. Yeah I have to figure something out about my posture cause it is getting bad, I have to keep switching back and forth from regular to goofy foot to keep it from hurting. I know my posture is wrong, however, I dont know what it is that is wrong with it. But now that I really think about it, I do put a lot of pressure on my back foot when I am riding. Thanks for the advice though!!! _________________ It is better to be thought a fool, then to speak and remove all doubt. |

i have the same problem, my back starts hurting. i also put too much weight on my back foot. i think im afraid of my nose going under if i ride flat footed. kindof the same as when i snowboard, i always hold an edge so i dont catch an edge.
also, just like you, i attempted a 3 the other day, and while i have it down pat on the tramp (the initiating the spin with the rope, waiting till im up int he air to start) as soon as i started to spin, the rope was ripped out of my hand. i think when i get on the water, i get too anxious to get around and am less patient like on the tramp. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/muxpux

| i totally hear ya.. ridin with equal weight does feel a little sketchy at first but u will get used to it.. its a lot easier when you are cuttin on an edge to have equal weight distribution. o and along with that saving your back it will also give u better pop off the wake!!!! and for those 3's just like a said before really give the rope a good tug as soon as you leave the wake.. then pull the rope around to your lower back and hold it there till u find it with the other hand.. u will have lots of time!! goodluck man.. im so anxious to get out on the water.. get our boat from storage next weekend!!!! |

Yes, leaning foward will cause back pain
on the 360, Pop< pull, pass, and if the rope is jerked out on the landing, have people in the boat see if you are landing on the wake, instead of over it |

| Donkey_Wakeboarder17, for your 360 if the rope is being pulled out of your hands it means your landing either on your heels, with your arms straight so no cushion or both. |

Ctipping, its being pulled out of my hands in the air as I go to make my handle pass.... _________________ It is better to be thought a fool, then to speak and remove all doubt. |
