for beginners its best to keep them relativly close together..
stand on it out of the water and and figure out whats comfortable..
theres really no wrong or right way. it takes time.
time time time. |

oh yea b-4 u set that new board on the pavement just rember to take off your fins and set a towel under it or you'll be buyin new fins. i find if i keep my bindings duckfooted a bit (wich means both toes pointing out slightly) works the best. you'll have to take it out and ride it to find just the right spot. when duckfooted try not to set them so your feet are pointed too far outward. oh yea one more thing, if you have pain on the insides of your knees you are too duckfooted. outsides of knees the u r too far in. _________________ it's like a sore d*$@k ya just can't beat it! |

Lately I have been moving my stance out and I am doing much better with it. I am 5'10" 130lb and found with my feet closer together I do not have as good a balance because I stand to tall and can not bend my knees as far.
I wish I would have started out with my feet farther apart, I now think together was holding me back.
I ride second to last hole out, and no, your board is not to big. _________________ Its hard being a chick rider, you have to know how to ride, and make sure your still wearing your bikini after busting. |
