Slider "damage"

I see some people saying they take their boards on sliders and such, and that it gets scratched up and stuff like that. Is it just scuffing and scratches? Or is there some kind of structural damage that can be done to the board?

Do you think the structural integrity of a wakeboard it worthy for consistently coming into contact with other structures at 24mph?

BigMace255, you need a second board just for rail sliding for sure, well at our cable park at least. after 20-30 days, it's good for garbage.

Rails will kill almost any board in short order....

You will need a rail only board. you will get gouges, chips, delam and all other kinds of scars....specially of you board slide on and or board slide off. 50/50s are not as abusive but those are how do we say, GAY and highly frowned upon unless you 360 or BS 180 out.
