alright i know that alot of colleges have wakeboard teams now and this may be a dumb questions but do u think some of the bigger wakeboarding schools like ucf etc.. would do scholarships for wakeboarding or is it just get accepted to the school and then u join the team from there..kinda like how football players get scholarships and i know college wakeboarding isnt nearly as big as college football but just a thought

As far as i know there is only one school that offers a wake scholarship. I'm pretty sure its Rollins or I think it might be a small college outside of tampa. Wakeboarding at UCF is still a club therefore they cant offer scholarships since it isnt a varsity sport there. Besides scholarship wakeboarding would really limit the team rather than have it as a club. When its a club anyone can basically join and if it was scholarship a lot of people probably wouldnt get to enjoy what club members would. Hopefully since I'm going to UCF in the fall i can join their club.

I'm looking into colleges....................what are some universities that have good wakeboarding communities?

I'd prefer something in the midwest but I still like to know.

Question Question Question
