Ok, im about 5' 10 about 150 lbs is it ok for me to get 141 cm board

it's all preference man...personally i'm about ur size and i ride a 137...n our weight can even ride a 134...it's just what u want..try out different lengths n see what u like _________________ Smile at the hotties on the boat...Huck ur new trick...Nail it and they'll think ur Wicked..and even if u bail they can soothe u afterwards:D...

Longer Board gives you more air and a softer landing, but they take longer to spin/get spinning. There also slower in the water.
Shorter Boards are gonna give you a more responsive, fast ride. You'll be able to really zip around the water carving quick.

| I'd like input from veteran riders on this one; my 2¢ is that larger board may be better for a rider starting out due to the larger surface area making it easier to get up an plane across the water. Also, as cajun said, the softer landing makes perfect sense. A smaller board surely is going to be lighter and make spins quicker, manuevers very quick- but if youre just starting out, smaller may not be the way to go until to you're used to making some basic turns. |
