G T M 2,

If I understand you correctly you would like to know what you will need to get started? If so here is what I would recommend-
1- find your correct size board on the boardfinder on the main page. Then you will know what size board to get. (and dont forget bindings)
2- you need a rope, preferably non-stretch
3- if your boat creates a wake, and you have something to mount the rope to the back of the boat you are good to go.
4- search in the "newbie" forum for tips on how to get up, edge, etc.

5- Go have fun!!
If you already knew all this I apologise Embarassed If you dont care so much about high end gear just get something that will get you started (used board, etc.) then try it out. That way if you dont like it no harm.
Also search the forums. I have found most answers to every question I ever wanted to ask, thats probably why my post count is low Laughing
good luck.

Guessing you're british?

You can get a cheap beginner wakeboard with bindings for around 200 US dollars.
A no-stretch handle and rope, you could probably find for 100 USD, maybe less.
A ski vest will cost anywhere from $20 to $150.

And sometimes handles come separate, sometimes they come with a rope as a package deal.
