I am only just starting to get decent pop HS W2W jumps. I am still wiping out on a few landings and another problem I was having is rotating off axis once in the air.
I think my problem was that I wasn't keeping the rope in tight once in the air and sometimes I was also letting go with my front hand causing all the rope tension to transfer to my back hand and as a result getting pulled forward off axis and twisting my body.
I started to let go with my back hand once launched to help me focus on my leading hand and this really helped with keeping my balance.
I am only a beginner so thought I would share some info that might help out.

Try keeping both of your hands on until you can land them consistantly. Another thing, to keep your balance in the air, try to keep your handle close to your hip and not extended far out in front. I'm in the same boat as you. I still wipe out on some jumps but i just keep my head up and handle close and i have no balance problems. _________________ I love the smell of napalm in the morning
one thing is where ur eyes n head are focussed...if ur looking at ur board or the handle ur gonna lose ur axis or landing...look ahead to where ur landing...in every trick u spot ur landing to some degree. so keep ur eyes on the far wake n concentrate on a nice smooth transfer to the downslope to the other side. _________________ Smile at the hotties on the boat...Huck ur new trick...Nail it and they'll think ur Wicked..and even if u bail they can soothe u afterwards:D...
