Okay, i am new to here, but i have been wakeboarding for a couple of years, but nothing really fancy, and i am trying to get more into it over this summer. I have a board, its nothing special, and its awfully small for me now, as it is about 4 years old, so i am in the market for a new board/bindings.
okay here are my questions
+ What are some suggestions for some intermediate boards, and nice bindings
+ Our family has a boat, a Crownline 26, and i normally go behind that, but my dad is the only one who likes to drive that, and i could get out more often on a jetski, would a jetski still work okay?
+Whats the deal with towers? I mean, do you need them, what purpose do they serve? Can you put them on any boat? Are they only for inverts/advanced tricks? |

well i dont really know about all of the other stuff...
but about the towers,
they are suposed to have the point at which you are anchored to the boat above your center of gravity (ie your waist)
so in turn this enables you to get out of the water faster,
keeps you on the water at upward angle instead of being pulled down (if you didnt have the tower you would know)
the tower is also just a badanus place to put your huge speakers!!! |

k i'll reword that...a tower pulls u up instead of back into the water...when u jump with no tower the boat is pulling u downward whereas with a tower ur just getting pulled along flat or maybe a tad downward (if ur going huge) so u'll stay airborn for longer.
as for the jetski question if ur still a beginner it's not bad to get ur basic edging and surface control down (surface spins n riding switch)...once u start jumping jestski's become somewhat obsolete...no wake=no air (not literally but it's a hell of a lot harder)
and for board we need a bit more info..like weight n what tricks ur trying to pull..
and for bindings it depends on ur pocket book..lol i didn't wanna spend crazy cash so i went with the cwb torq's...they're super handy and easy to get in n out of..and they lock u in rather nicely.. _________________ Smile at the hotties on the boat...Huck ur new trick...Nail it and they'll think ur Wicked..and even if u bail they can soothe u afterwards:D...
06 HL Byerly 137 - 06 CWB Torq bindings |

| go to your local dealers and get them to help you find exactly what you are looking for in a board and boots, because otherwise your just gonna get a whole bunch of different opinions |

ill commit about the towers i dont have one but i have a FlyHigh Pole with a board rack works just the same as a tower and a heck of a lot cheaper
and board selection i would go with a http://www.buywake.com/catalog/detail/LI_7P5y2
i would think that would be a good Intermediate board _________________ YEA I'M A BAND NERD WHAT YA GOING TO DO ABOUT YO!!!!
