i have only tried wakeboarding once last fall, but i liked it a lot even though i only got up once for about 30 seconds. anyway, i have been watching wakeboarding shows and everyone starts out facing squareds up with the boat with their board nose to tail horizontaly in the water. but in some intructions some tell you to start like you were already standing up with their shoulder facing the boat and their boards vertically
which way is easiest? |

| I always start squared, but with my front tip fust slightly higher. If you stay horizontal once the boat starts pulling you and you're trying to stand up, it just makes things harder. |

you actually have one higher than the other on the start? I just lay relaxed in the water, i couldn't see holding one higher at all..that would take effort on my part, and i wanna save as much as i can for the set...no just gettin up. _________________ Smile at the hotties on the boat...Huck ur new trick...Nail it and they'll think ur Wicked..and even if u bail they can soothe u afterwards:D...

i agree with brath5, i stay relaxed and once the boat has pulled me up onto the water I turn the board. Even the same with sitting dock starts, i keep the board horizontal until im up and going. _________________ There's nothing like a good old faceplant to wake you up in the morning! |

usually when i get up i'll stay horizontal to the boat for a couple seconds then throw my lead foot forward...i dunno why i just like slidin it for a bit...shows i can do it...n confuses the hell outta people in the boat that don't know wakeboarding _________________ Smile at the hotties on the boat...Huck ur new trick...Nail it and they'll think ur Wicked..and even if u bail they can soothe u afterwards:D...
