Started wakeboarding last summer, learned to ride on a single tip Hyperlite Perez and wrap bindings behind an outboard. So today I took the boat into the shop to hopefully get it running for the season, and decided for my b-day to go get my own board. I ended up with a 2000 Charlie Patterson sig. model 140 in mint condition and 05 bindings (not sure of the brand but they are lace ups) for $130 out the door. It seemed like a reasonable deal. I was looking for something to get me past the wake to wake grabs, and surface stuff. I have 7 days to return but dont think I'll get on the water to try them before then. Any thoughts? Good or Bad. _________________ " I think were going to need a bigger boat "-Police Chief Martin Brody |

| Its a step up for your old board but its still 6 years old. I would have tried to get something newer. |

Nemesis7384, thats a sweet deal. I spent the better part of a month looking online ebay, etc. but couldn't find much in the price range I needed by the time I added shipping etc. I almost bought the Flight package from Evogear but I didn't like the shape based on past experience with a friends board. I decided to go ahead and keep this set-up for now since it was cheap and I need to save the coin for the boat bill when it comes . Figured I could use it as a boat board in the future. Definately a step up though, weighs about half what perez weighs. Thanks for the input. Now for the boat bill... _________________ " I think were going to need a bigger boat "-Police Chief Martin Brody |
