Building Custom Longboard - Need Advice on parts

I'm building a board as a project, and perhaps later as a means of transportation. The board itself is a 4ft (8 inch deck, 5 inches where the trucks will be seated) longboard and I'm looking for advice on what trucks and wheels I should use. I'm looking for some fairly massive wheels (massive=tall, maybe 6 inch diameter) and I'll need trucks that will span the 5 inches and allow for turning.
