You think the db675 are better than the WB65-PolkMOMO ??

Looks like the MOMO would sound the best ..

I read somewhere (message board) that the sensitivity of the db675's made them better for tower speakers than the Momo's. But who knows ?

Here's the Lowdown on the MoMo's from Audioformz :

"Overall, the Polk MOMO sound the best and have great power handling so they get very loud as well. The kicker KS65 is actually the loudest system we sale, but not by much when compared to the MOMO. The MOMO has a more natural sound to them. Hope this helps!"

--Ronnie

They also install the InLine Crossovers (unit) inside the enclosures ... Wonder if that affects the sound quality at all ?

I have the Mono's in the boat and the db675's on the tower. They sound great! just be sure to give them enough power.

hey Billy, how much juice are you running to your MOMO tower speakers ??

Would a 100W /per speaker be enough??

100W is plenty

continuous rating is 80W
peak is 180
http://www.polkaudio.com/caraudio/specs/mmc650/

i'm running them off of a JL e4300 which is really only around 45W at 12-volts, more like 70+ at 14.4.

my boats in the shop and i'm changing out my e4300 for an e6450 six-channel, changing out my sub for a 10w3v2 and adding a JL e1200 sub amp. can't wait to get her back and for it to warm up. Smile

i can't guarantee you're going to hear them while riding. they'll probably disappoint in that area. but i can guarantee they'll rock in and around the boat.

if you have any other questions, just let me know.

Audio Formz kick ASS..

I have 4 of the 6x9" Inifinity's running in parallel off of a channels 3 and 4 of a Clarion 480 amp.. and they are WAY LOUD.. Somehow those enclosures throw the sound out like you wouldnt believe.. clear as hell at 70' out... allllllllll you need.. and by far and wide the sickest looking things out!!

You should see when I get stopped by the bass fishermen on the river..

"Hey.. whatcha got up there on that tower? Looks like some jet engines or sumthin.. "

I love it... Big ups to Audio Formz!

I had some Audioformz for a little while. One pair was loaded with Kicker KS65's the other pair was loaded with Kicker SSMB6's. They rocked! No problems hearing them at 70'. I ran 60W RMS to each KS65's and 150W RMS to each SSMB6's.

Here's a couple pics
