ahhhh finally all of my anticipation to get back out on the water was able to be released yesterday. the water was in the mid-50's and the air was lower 60's. I didn't get to go out a whole lot because the weather in missouri is dumb and it would rain then shine then rain then shine....for the whole day. but overall i was happy, my new skate is so awsome i love it. i was a little rusty with my ollies and such but i felt like i had good control and i landed a shuv-it on my third try. so i started catch back on fairly quickly. so theres my speel(sp?) about finally getting to go back out after countless months. |

I know what you mean with the weather being screwy. Thats how it has been lately out here in southern california. I was supposed to go out either today or tomorrow but the weather is messing everything up. _________________ "I knew those girls were pros, but don't tell Turtle, it'll break his heart." - Drama, Entourage |

yeah that always sucks. speaking of weather we just got a tornado warning!!!
anyways, when i was on my way down to the lake i brought my old WBM that showed how to do w2w and stuff on a wakeskate. i was suprised to see who some of the riders were showing the stuff. when ever i first got it the only person i knew was brian grubb, but after i looked at it again this weekend some of the riders were colin wright, aaron reed doing a freakin HS FS 360, and drew mcguckin. i just thought it was cool how back then i didn't have a clue who they were while they were tearing it up and now they have been able to show people what they are all about w/ SNAP and all the ads they have been in. |

Drew has been dogging it on a skate for years, that was probaly the first glimpse I got of wakeskating- I remember seeing his w2w tricks in the WBM higher learning sections and I was like 'wow look at this guy wearing shoes!' Him and Byerly have some brief wakeskating sections in older vids too, like from 97-99. |

i just wore a weatsuit that went to my knees and elbows. i started my first run w/ a dock start and almost landed it but didn't . the water was fairly cold right after i fell then i got used to it, then about 15-20min. all of a sudden i just go soooo cold i was able to move to do anything so i had to get out.
now my dad just said we won't be going back down to the lake for 3 weeks or a month so hopefully the water will be warmer by then |
