25 is pretty damn fast to hit the wake at. Slow 'er down to 22-23.

As for leg strength it shouldn't take any. You just need a good edge and when you hit.

Edge in with a nice agressive edge and when you hit the lip, stand tall and it should do the trick.

Make sure you don't flatten out. A lot of beginners think they will get higher and further by flattening out their board at the wake, but it will just make tricks and landing more difficult.

I think he means "coming off your edge", make sure and edge all the way up the wake.

Be sure to hold your edge straight into the wake, kind of lean back on your tail and keep your knees bent until you hit the wake. That's when you should straighten up.

Does leg strength help at all? Or do you not jump one bit, and just stand tall while staying on edge? I've done everything behind a boat but wakeboard up until last year, I've only wakeboarded twice and that was behind a 60hp outboard on a 13ft Boston Whaler.

I would say your core strength (abs and lower back) is more important than leg strength in wakeboarding.

Aye, I had solid abs last year and I ignored my lower back, it killed me! haha, I couldn't do long sets at all.
