Rocker Line

hey everybody, im riding a 134 motive, and i'm lookin for a new board cuz i out grew my old one. I heard from some friends that a board with a 3 stage rocker makes a huge difference in the pop, but it wont hold an edge as well, im pretty new to wakeboarding and can do all the basic grabs and can clear the wake by a foot or so, but what im wondering is, is 3 stage rocker worth it? thanks for the help

w2w motive, demo them if you can. There are different 3 stage rocker patterns out there, and they all ride different. Dont limit yourself to just one company either, and read about as many as you can. I do reccomend you using the search feature here to read about different boards and how they ride. Who knows, you might end up liking a cont rocker better. And just so you know, 3 stage rockers dont always give more pop then that of a continuous.

w2w motive, 3 stage rocker boards will still hold there edge fine. A couple boards you should maybe are the LF Substance and LF Omega. The Substance has an Aggressive 3 Stage rocker and has been a very popular board over the past few years. The Omega has a really mellow 3 Stage rocker which might be easier for you to transition to.

Like Blake said, DEMO. These two boards would probably be good for you to progress on from where you are at...just trying to give you an idea on where to start looking.
