Balls to the wall, cut in as fast as you can and pop off the wake, have a good progresive edge

start off with a good progressive edge. This will allow you to be going the fastest when you hit the wake. Stand tall through the wake, and dont let your knees absorb your pop.

You DO NOT lock your knees, and get them ready to absorb the landing.

Once you have poped off the wake bend your knees, almost bring them to your chest(if your still gettin the hang of it) so that 1. You get you feet out of the way , and 2. You get a softer landing without having the "skipping effect" like throwing a rock across water

you edge in progressively, don't back off the edge (keeps the line tension), then stand tall off the wake. The pop comes from standing tall. Once in the air, pull your knees up and go for a grab...

so, you don't do any jumping motion with your legs before popping off the wake?

Thats right you dont want to jump at all. Just stand tall and cut all the way through the wake.

I believe that when you snowboard(im not sure cause i suck too much to jump) youre either kindof on edge or not on edge at all. When you wakeboard, you should edge the whole way through the wake. If you let off your edge at all, you'll lose height.
