carbizzle03, it could be any number of things starting with your edge into the wake. Make sure when you are edging in, you have the weight over the center of the board so you get popped from the middle off of the wake. I am sure you have read all about technique by now, so I am not going to go into that with you. Next, once you are in the air, try and keep your eyes out on the shore line and do not look down. Once you feel as though you are comming back down, get yourself into an athletic position. I am sure you have jumped off of something before, and you know that you arent going to land with your knees locked standing tall and stiff as a board, so get into a relaxed athletic position. Also, upon landing, you are going to want to land on the same edge you took off the wake from. So, if it is a heelside pop, you are going to want to land on that same edge, edging out away from the wake.

One thing that I might suggest you do, is to grab your digital camera, or have someone with a camcorder or a digital camera that takes vid and just have them video you hitting the wake. Being able to look at what you are doing will give you more insight on things you need to fix overall, be it edge, position of where you pop off the wake, or landing and you can have a better game plan the next time you roll out.

Shoot me a pm if you have any more questions.
