hey fellas how r ya?
so i went camping on the weekend and got 2 solid runs in...i progressed a fair bit with my edging(it was choppy as hell but oh well) and tried riding switch for a while so its slowly goin alright...
i was just wondering though how important the features of the boat are to wake boarding...at the moment all i can get behind is a 4 cyl ski boat that doesnt kick up a huge wake...and only has a real short ski pole...i was just wondering how much different it makes actually learning to ride with the right pole? does it make much difference at all? is it still very much worth towing behind the short pole or is it kinda pointless?
thanks for any replies

Anything is going to help you learn. There are a ton of guys that learn behind jetski's and then when they get behind a real boat, they go BIG, real BIG. Take whatever you can get man. I learned to ride behind a deck boat with no tower. The first time I got a pull behind a real boat, I made massive improvements. Behind a boat like that, work on your technique, your edging and stuff. Have fun! _________________ pain heals, chicks dig scars, glory lasts forever |

| HEY IT DOES MATTER WHEN YOU GET BETTER B/C A HIGHER POLE OR A TOWER GETS YOU MORE AIR AND LESS TENSION SO FIND A FRIEND WITH A TOWER OR BIGER POLE WHEN YOU WANT 2 TRY 2 PULL A BACK FLIP OR SOMTHING |

I totally aggree about having a real wake boat to go behind once you learn because I have been riding behind a 19.5 fish and ski with a 150 4stroke outboard for 2 years with a 3ft pole on the back and realy think that it is sarting to hold back my progression.
But I can not complain to much at least it is mine and I can ride when I want. _________________ Its hard being a chick rider, you have to know how to ride, and make sure your still wearing your bikini after busting. |
