ROBBED!!!!!!!!!

OK............here it goes.......

apparently last night someone broke into the lot at the local shop and stole a ton of stuff from the boats.....mine included......they took my amp, head unit, and boat speakers. They couldn't get the tower setup off though. I guess i am fortunate because not too long ago I took out the extra amp and two subs, because of the winter and all. I am highly pissed though....and some of you may not care.... but i just needed to vent!! And I swear to god if I find them.................. Twisted Evil

has anything like this happened to you?

Someone robbed the tower unit off our new malibu 23 xti....I'm pretty much pissed as hell.

Yep, happened the week before christmas this year. They took everything, head unit, speakers, box of tools in the back, battery, extra lifejackets - even those stupid orange ones, 3 flags, an extra wake line, all the ropes, and the f'n steering wheel, they nearly cracked the windshield too, tryin to push the tower out of the way. Thank god for insurance. Now I get 06 stuff... yaaay...

Sweet for you.....getting the 06 stuff and all..........but this is what REALLLLLY pissed me off. The stupid police wouldn't even come to the scene. Well this one dude came and took like three pictures after I had pitched a fit....... but then he said that they dont do fingerprints or blood samples. What a very usefull police department we have!!!!!

yea one night we left our boat out front because we were leaving the next morning and somone took all our speakers, amps, subs, and even the cd player. When they went to get the cd player they tok a crowbar to the dash and we had to get a whole new dash.

yeah there is a lot of damage.... the vinyl is f*cked up. And there is this hughe shoes print.... they were wearin Adio Shoes. Hes musta stepped in some mud.... but the vinyl is real tore up..... i dont know what to do...get it totally replaced?

We put a motion sensor on our boat so we know if anyone is messing with it. We decided to do that after three times of getting robbed.

That's harsh! I'd hate to know what might happen to our boat over in storage.. It's not even locked Neutral

Whenever we leave our boat, we make things as difficult as possible to remove and take as much as we can with us..

About a month ago, someone broke into my neighbour's garage and stole a few snowboards, but that's it.

Hope everything turn out in the end.

Getting ripped off sucks. What's even worse is that it happened at your storage lot, which you kinda expect to be secure for long stretches of time. An alarm probably wouldn't have helped if no one lives anywhere near your storage lot.

A good lesson for us. I think emptying the boat completely of all valuables (boards, jackets, stereo equipment) before putting it away is the only way to prevent losing it. Kinda a hassle, but I guess it's going to be worth it down the road.

Actually, our boat is an 03 Supra Gravity, and it has the snap on cover... now they make snap on covers with an alaram signal attach to one of the snaps. I think the alarm just runs to your battery, then you have a remote that you can just turn it off an on with. I might need to invest in one of those....
