I've only been boarding a few months and just wonderin how long it takes to get some consistency with inverts. So far the only invert i can land regularly is the tantrum. HS Backroll, Scarecrow & TS Frontroll are what i'm working on and i just can't seem to get any better than 50/50. Is it just perseverence or is there some key to spotting the landing that i am missing. With TS Fronts i wouldn't have a clue where i am until my board hits the water, so it really is just luck if i ride away or not.
Any help would be appreciated. |

Now that you know you can do the moves and know how they feel, you should concentrate on executing the moves in the exact way they are described in instructionals.
With that ts front roll, I've noticed the same thing on mine. Here's what helps me:
1 - Get your hips up, stand really tall, and wait longer than you think you should at the wake (this will take you up higher so it doesn't whip you around real quick with little control)
2 - Stay tucked up until you spot the water. When you start to tuck up for the flip, do it as if you are going for 1½ flips. That way you will be able to see the water, then open up and come down nice and easy for the landing, where you should be on your ts edge.
Hope that helps |

A few months with a few inverts, I should be asking you for help.
I have a sneaking suspicion you are not progressing any further cuz you decided to skip over the fundamentals/basics. With a good foundation you should be able to build any house, same with wakeboarding.
Go back and work on a few of things that you can do but don't do 100% correct, this might fix something you are doing and help you progress to the next level.
