Is the XLarge print on HL toerubbers supposed to be on the big toe side of the boot or the pinky toe side of the boot? I'll post a picture if your not sure what I'm talkin about.

Are you afraid you bought a fake pair of boots in chinatown? Why does it matter?

hes probably putting some boots together and forgot to check when he took them apart. ive been in that situation several times. i have belmonts and the large is right in the middle . the material should cut in a little on the pinky side.

I didn't buy them at ChinaTown no worry there. I bought them at Performance Ski and Surf which from what I read is actually a pretty well know dealer. Especially since when my mom picked up my boots there she saw JD Webb. Anyways that's besides the point. I got them for Christmas but my dad bought them in a XXL and when I took them for a trial run at the OWC I realized that the Toe Rubber was too big. I was also told that the only difference between the XXL and the XL in the way they are made is that the toe rubber is bigger on the XXL. When I heard this I called Hyperlite and then the store where I bought the boots at and had them order me a pair of toe rubbers. Since my mom would be in town the next week I had her take them by the shop and they changed them out for me. She brought them home sunday and when I open the book the boots looked a little funny so I was curious. Anyways here are the pictures of how they came out. (Sorry for the size)

I tried them on and I felt a little too loose by my big toe but since I haven't been riding them all that long I wasn't sure. It also looks like they would look more supportive if where the material cuts in is by the pinky toe.

| Catch This Wake, its really a major pain in the ass if youve never done it before. it might not be too bad considering the toe rubbers and overlays have already been compressed a little. just unscrew the eight screws(four on each side) that hold the toe piece in on each boot. swap the toe rubber and screw it back in. it sounds pretty simple but it takes a lot of stretching pushing and pulling. youll be able to figure everything out tho.

you dont need to take the heel pieces off. Just the four screws on the front of each side. Shouldnt take 30 minutes.

That really depends on how bad you are with a screwdriver or drill. if you havea drill with a long phillips head bit, its not bad, just take your time

Well if they put them on backwards and they line up with the holes fine, then they will fit when you put them in the right way
