Last summer I bought a new boat. Although I a have never wakeboard before, my wife bought me a new board for x-mas. The board is a Obrien Valhalla with ION bindings size 143. I am 6'4" and 230lbs. Is this a good board to learn on? or a to advanced board. thanks for the help

I dont know much about about that board but everybody I know usually progresses so quickly that they wish they had bought a more advanced board than they started out with.

head1st, your board will be fine. It might be hard to learn on, but once you get the hang of it you will be fine. I rode one last year a few times, and it cut well.
