Hey i was wondering if nayone could help me with my tantrums. I recently started trying them and i have landed a couple but generally when i try i get all the waty around but land with the board horizontal to the boat and the rope is riped from my hand or i face plant. If anyone could help please do so.
Also i have been trying front flips and i landed one when i was finishing my run (but let go of rope) And since then i have tryerd many times but continuly my back foot keeps sliping ount of the bindingsd and i nearly break my ankle. I have tighten my bindings really tight but it still manages to release just after i start a front roll any heklp there also would help.
(Also once i land tantrums alot of the time what would be the next trick i should learn?) _________________ Whoa go me! |

Do you have any video footage, or at least pictures of the execution of the tricks? _________________ Be an organ donor! My father is alive today because of kind souls that donate life... |

When your doing frontflips I think you back foot is coming out of your binding because your hucking your frontflip to soon. Frontflips need to be thrown really really late. Make sure you ride up the wake and load your back foot then huck forward when you get to the top of the wake.
And for your tantrum just make sure you square up to the wake. My friend does the same thing and he pops off the wake real weird. Make sure you have your weight is placed evenly on both feet when you pop. _________________ www.nationsfoundation.org

hey this is rickys bro, im having similar troubles 2 by bro only when i do a tantrum i accidently manage to throw a 180 into it...(i dont no y) im also going up on th 20th n i'll try 2 catch some vids of this crazy flip lol... also when i go 2 land the tantrum the board is the right way but it seems like ice n slips right out from underneath me...could this b caused from the weight shifting to my back foot?? i can do a backflip (tantrum) extreemly easy on a trampoline and almost just on th ground so im guesing i cant be a flip fault....if that makes sense

One of my friends does the 180 thing on his tantrum attempts. His problem is that after squaring off and hitting the wake, while he is up and flipping, he pulls the handle in front of his body instead of leaving it at his side.
It almost looks like he is trying to re-grab the handle with his back hand while in the air.
I have also done the same thing when I go too far while squaring up to the wake.
I come off the wake still turning like I am going for a bs 180. The line tension will rewind me in the air, and the rotation continues for the fs 180.
Just make sure you keep the handle to your side and it should correct the issue. |
