Supra LSV has offered the best price, followed by Malibu VLX, then Xstar. I hurt my knee so I cant test drive yet. I think the Supra interior and all is nice, although I seem to like the looks of the Xstar the best. My main concern is that I want a great wake without alot of sacs on the floor, will the Supra wake compare to the others? The dealers are good except the Malibu dealer. Give me some advice please?

Test drive the all. If money is no object-get the Xstar! I got the Malibu for my money. The updated wedge works alot better and throws a good wake.

I have ridden behind the X-star, Malibu and a Supra V-drive. My money is on the X-star if you are willing to weight it correctly. The best wake I have ever ridden behind is definitely an X-star with 3000 lbs +. At that point it definitely becomes more of a vert wake. It all depends what kind of wake you like.

David,
It gets said alot here, but buy from a dealer you are comfortable with.
I have an 02 X-10 and love the quality of the boat and the wake, but the dealer has been the best part of my purchase.

Can't go wrong with any of those boats.

Supra's put out a great wake. If you can't do what you want behind one, I would say its the rider not the boat. Mastercraft does make a great boat though. Just think about all the money you save going with the Supra, it just leaves you more money for gear and accessories.

Even if you cant ride you should go out and test drive em, fill up the ballast see how it handles how long it takes what the wake looks like. Maybe you can find a bud who will ride for you.

all great boats, I spent a long time making sure as well, it's not easy that's for sure..

TURK- I think you ment to say if money is no object by a Nautique...
By far the most expensive boats out there.
I bought mine cuz of the wake, nothing came close for me anyway.

PEACE

David, if money is no problem, go the dealer that is going to make this something that you like and not what they need to sell. If you are not able ride, find a buddy that can and will not BS you. I will be suprised if the dealer will accually let you ride behind it unlees you put money down on it, but you never know. Then if they don't have the color you like make them find it (if they really want to work with you they will help to find what ever you like in a boat). Good Luck and like a car never buy the first one you see!

If money is no object get the Super air but if you looking for best quality with value and wake then Malibu Vlx with wedge for sure..I like SSV alot and own a supra but the wedge makes a huge difference in using less sacks for a big peaky clean wake..

Like Houston Rider said...with many of the top boats being so close it is a matter of preference for the wake and look of the boat. The other big thing to consider is the dealer. They can make a break any experience with any boat.
