Should I get the USCG approved front zip or the USCG approved side entry vest? Also, how do I know which size to get? (btw if anyone is selling one, I'd consider buying one used) |

On their website, I can only find molded jackets in the women's section... Is that true or am I just stupid? Also, if there is a seperate one for men is it USCGA? because if it isn't, my parents won't tow me while I'm wearing it |

Side entry is the most comfortable in my opinion. |

The molded vests are not USCGA, they are comp vests. You can go to buywake.com and check out the new styles of vests there. All the 03 Jet Piolt stuff is on there. I feel the vests run kind of big, the LG is really big and the MD fits like a large to me. I have a front zip USCGA vest that rocks, I tried the side entry USCGA and found it to be just as comfy. I do not think you can lose picking one up. _________________ "What do you mean you're done for the night...Insomnia doesn't even open until 4. Seems like side entry is the most popular... Anybody know which size to get for a ~36" chest? Also, where is the best place to order it from? or even better, does anybody know of a shop that sells them in Ottawa? |

I have a jet pilot stance USCG approved side entry I got last year. I realy like it and will probably get a new one this year. You can find these vests on any of the online wakeboard shops. _________________ Got Spelling? |

Non-cga vests are like props, they look cool in vids but they suuuck for protection. Take a hard chest dive in one and you will pass it to a friend you don't like.
The Jet Pilot vests fit loose, the neo stretch works great but you need to get at least one size smaller for it to snug up and stay tight. |

uscg side zip, gives you more padding in front if you even care about that. and the zipper doesnt get in the way |

Jim is right I am buying one size smaller this year because it was a little loose. I bought it based on the measurement chart. _________________ Got Spelling? |

Well, now that I've checked 2 sizing charts, I don't know what to do. Jet pilot.com says xs/s is 34-37 and m is 37-39, but barts.com says xs/s is 34-36 and m is 36-38. My chest size is 36.5, so according to jetpilot.com I should get an xs/s but barts.com says I should get a m. I really don't want to order the wrong size, so what should I do? |

Thanks for the help . I've decided to get the USCG approved side entry, sized XS/S. I'll see at the Ottawa Boat Show if there's any local dealers I can get it from. If not I'll order one online. |
