05 hyperlite state size

I took a lesson with some guy who said i would be good with an 05 Hyperlite State 140. I went to the boardshop and the guy says i need a 135. I go to the board finder and it says i need a 130. I'm 5ft 5in and weigh 105. Any one got any ideas? I appreciate any help.

Hey, I have a 05 Hyperlite state 135 board. i am 5' 2 and weigh about 110lbs and this board works great for me. SO i would recomend a 135 for your weight and heigth to. i have rode this board for the season and was a great board but it just didnt give me the heigth that i wanted so i am going to go with the 06 era or syn which ever is the one with the leather top covering but it rides pretty much the same as the state except for a little more pop and it is a bit faster so if i were you i would look a this board to. But i definatly recomend the state for starting out.

thanks.think i'll go with the 05:cheaper and i'm not that great

im 5' 10", 135lbs and ive got a LF Balance 135 and its perfect for me. 135 should be fine, just depends on how it feels to you.
