Hey, fajah and I are in kind of a pickle here... We need to know what people have done with PVC for their enclosure. If you can illustrate or explain what you did, that would be great.

We realized the inner diameter of the pipe is just slightly more than the mounting hole diameter, so this creates a huge problem.

So if anyone out there has made cans with KS65's and PVC, can you lend me a hand here? Thanks. Also, any other ideas if PVC doesn't work out? We're trying to stay away from the box idea as much as possible Razz

Anyone?

Can anyone illustrate some kind of profile for how it will all go together? Not necessarily with the KS65's

The simplest solution is to get some marine ply and make simple circles that will make endcaps for the PVC pipe..
Epoxy them in and you have your tube.

Using some car body filler can give a better finish over the plywood and edges...

Brit Rider, Thanks.

Dad just bought all the pipe and he has an idea, so it better go well Razz $75 went into the pipe fittings so far. We're using a coupling with an end cap on either end and joining the coupling with the pipe. On one end, we're cutting a hole for the back of the speaker and mounting it there. There could have been an easier way to do this, but we have the pipe right now.
