the wake will affect your height and ability to pull of tricks with no air, but a pylon or tower wouldnt make much difference.. _________________ hyperlite riders |

| A pole or tower will help with the angle of your pull. It will also help with gettting air. If you are hooking to a lower part of the boat you will have a downward pull. Where if you are pulling from the pylon or tower you will have height to your pull. |

Yes ballywho, a very common newbie question!
Hybrid34, try the excellent search function in the forums. This question has been discussed many times before.

thanks guys for that, just one other thing,
because my boat isn't a wakeboat, is it recommended to open the bungs up a bit n let some water in so it creates a bigger wake?...i looked on some other forums n they said to put sacs of sand in but i thought letting in a little water n putting every1 at the back of the boat would be easier. _________________ - H y b r i d -

| Hybrid34, i had an i/o, and tried that, i wouldn't reccommend letting water into your boat, get fat sacs. its up to you, or whoever owns the boat. |

i 2nd that, do not let water into your boat, you can fill and empty fatsacs whenever you need and move them around to get a clean wake. _________________

oh sounds pretty logical, where can u get fatsacs?..n whats the sizes? cause nothing compares to having to 50 - 80kg people in the back does it? _________________ - H y b r i d -

A sac will weigh a lot more than just people... Usually a good starting point is to put a 600 in the ski locker.
Also, don't put all the weight in the stern. Place it evenly throughout the boat. If all the weight is aft then your wake will break prematurely (sp?).
